Jay Z inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

With 21 Grammys, a super star wife, his own legacy as multi-hyphenate media and business mogul and a plethora of other accolades and accomplishments, Jay Z can now officially add memeber of the Songwriters Hall of Fame to his repertoire.

As the first and only rapper as inductee, Jay Z joins the likes of George Gershwin, Pete Seeger, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Smokey Robinson, Joni Mitchell, Lionel Ritchie, Curtis Mayfield, Mariah Carey, Isaac Hayes and Michael Jackson, just to name a few.
